Bow Bijou was started in 2007 when I could not find any unique hair clips that would stay in the hair. I started making them for my own girls and soon friends and neighbors would ask me to make them for their girls. My friends encouraged me to start selling my products in stores. Bow Bijou was placed in local boutiques, and did really well. We expanded our business to the internet in 2009 where we really took off. Bow Bijou was asked to be the official hair clip for the 2009 Miss California Pageant! We were also featured on CBS and several parenting magazines! We also worked with Scott Baio and his wife Renee to raise money for the Bailey Baio Foundation. Many of our items have been donated to auctions to help charities and local schools. Bow Bijou has been gifted to Denise Richards, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Garner, Brooke Burke, Tobey Maguire, Jessica Simpson and several other celebrities. In 2012 we are pleased to introduce our latest line of headbands that are of the highest quality and comfort. They are being introduced for the first time on Etsy, Enjoy!
